Short games that teach you to see the board: square colors, material, and which moves are dangerous.
What is board vision
Board vision is the skill of reading a position quickly: where the pieces are, which squares they attack, who has more material and which moves are dangerous. It means fewer blunders and more combinations found.
Each trainer works on one habit and takes a few minutes. Positions come from Stepchess course puzzles, blunders are marked by the Stockfish engine. No sign-up needed.
Trainers

Material count: Count the material: who is ahead and by how many pawns.
Position memory: Look at the position, memorize it and set it up again from memory.
